Alli – Instructor
Dance Kaleidoscope has been Alli’s second home since she began dancing here with Miss Debbie at the age of 3, and as continued studying here with Ronni and Terrell until she graduated high school. Alli is also the assistant director of Magic Moments in addition to doing choreography for their annual show. In addition to dance and theater, most of Alli’s time is spent being a mom to her kids, including binging them to dance classes here! Alli loves sharing dance with the students here and feels honored to play a role in helping them grow into wonderful young women.
Aubrey - Instructor
Aubrey began her dance training under the tutelage of her grandmother Nan Klinger, and performed with the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet for ten seasons. Aubrey then spent three years at Point Park University graduating magna cum laude, earning her B.A. in dance performance. Aubrey has worked throughout the country in both concert and commercial dance. She currently is a Principle Dancer with Davis Contemporary Dance Company and recently performed with Opera Colorado in their production of Aida.
Brooke – Office Manager
Brooke has worked at Dance Kaleidoscope for 8 years. She takes care of the phone calls, registration, tuition and whatever else is needed. Brooke believes the studio offers a unique experience for dancers, “When your child is at the studio they have access too professional, caring instructors, a safe nurturing environment and the freedom to discover their own passion for the art.” She has two girls that dance at the studio and they all love being a part of Dance Kaleidoscope.
Debbie - Artistic Director
Debbie Stark is the owner and artistic director of Dance Kaleidoscope. She has worked in the dance and theater community for over 35 years and has taught dance to literally thousands of young people during her career. Debbie is the recipient of numerous nominations and awards for her critically acclaimed choreography including Denver Drama Critic Awards, Ovation Awards and last year, she received the Henry Award and the Denver Post Ovation Award for her choreography on "Urinetown" and "Side Show" both at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Debbie would very much enjoy the opportunity to share with you her unique philosophy on dance that has made Dance Kaleidoscope so successful over the years.
Ellen - Instructor
Ellen is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with her BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Dance Performance. Ellen is an instructor for The Little Gym in addition to teaching for multiple studios throughout the area. She is also the director of the Intermediate Program for Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Vermont, and a former dancer with Kim Robards Dance.
Kaylee - Instructor
Keegan - Instructor
Keegan O’Brien graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science. It was there he began dancing and has not stopped since! Keegan has competed on the last two seasons of American Ninja Warrior – winning a towel both times he hit the water (third time’s the charm!). Keegan has also been awarded first place in both the Physique and Fitness categories in Musclemania’s Colorado Championships. This season marks his third with Ballet Ariel and first full year with Davis Contemporary Dance Company. Keegan is thrilled to be starting his second year with the Dance Kaleidoscope family, sharing his passion for dance!
Rodni – Instructor
Rodni is a native of Miami, Florida. Rodni holds a BFA in dance from Adelphi University and has also studied at the Dance Theater of Harlem and The Ailey School. He has been a guest faculty member at The University of Arizona-Tucson and has also taught at the Ailey School, MOVE ON Dance Center and Williams is Co-Founder/Associate Artistic Director of Black Dance Festival, Vienna, Austria. Rodni has his Masters of Fine Arts degree from The University of Arizona, Tucson. Rodni was recently appointed Associate Artistic Director of the Davis Contemporary Dance Company.
Ronni - Instructor
Ronni has been dancing since the age of three and teaching for over 30 years and is so excited to be back at Dance Kaleidoscope. She has performed at the Boulder’s Dinner Theater, Country Dinner Playhouse, Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, Casa Manana, and the Lone Tree Arts Center to name a few and her choreography has been seen on many of these stages as well. She has two sons, Kale and Cole, who constantly “keep her on her toes!”
Tracey - Instructor
Tracey has been a performer, teacher, and choreographer for the past 15 years. Originally from New Orleans, Tracey received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University at Buffalo where she was a member of the prestigious Zodiaque dance company. Tracey has also taught, judged, and choreographed locally and nationally. She also can be seen performing at Boulder’s Dinner Theater.
Terrell – Instructor
Terrell Davis is the Founder /Artistic Director of the Davis Contemporary Dance Company. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He has a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in dance from Western Illinois University (WIU). He was a full scholarship student at the Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theatre. At JHCDT he trained with Rodni Williams who introduced him to the Horton Technique. He got his professional start with the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company where he was mentored by Terrence Greene, and worked with the legendary artist Sherri "Sparkle" Williams. His journey then brought him to Denver, where he danced with the Cleo Parker-Robinson Dance Ensemble, where he danced for six years. Mr. Davis’ teaching experience has been at the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance School, Academy of Colorado Ballet, the Academy of Classical Ballet, Manuel High School, Smokey Hill High School, Hannah Kahn’s Open Studio, and many other dance schools in Denver.
